How We Work: Specified, Inspected, Supported
A drilling rig is a twenty-year purchase decided on a one-page quotation. This page is about the part between those two facts — how the machine gets specified, checked and kept running.
We do not own a factory. We own the specification, the inspection and the follow-up.
Most exploration rigs sold internationally are built in specialist factories and moved through trading companies that add a margin and a forwarding address. The machine is usually fine. What goes wrong is everything around it: a rig ordered one rod size too small, a bit that does not match the barrel thread, no record of what was tested before packing, and no one to ask when a feed cylinder leaks in month nine.
We work the other way round. The hole comes first — depth, rod size, rock, access, power available on site — and the model is chosen against those numbers. Then the build is placed with the factory that builds that model best, inspected against a written checklist with your serial number on it, packed for the container it will actually travel in, and recorded so the next order of bits and rods matches what is already on your rack.
Our team spent ten years supplying underground mining equipment before moving into exploration drilling. Underground is an unforgiving teacher: a part that is 5 mm out does not fail in a brochure, it fails at the face, three shifts from the portal. That is the standard we hold rigs to.
Six things in every order
Not features of a machine — the parts of the purchase that decide whether the machine earns its keep.
A written specification
Depth in NQ, HQ and PQ, hole diameter, rod thread, head torque, power, weight and transport dimensions — on one sheet you can send to your own engineer before you sign anything.
Build placed on merit
We work with more than one factory and place each model where the build quality is best for that size, not where the margin is best for us. You are told which build you are buying.
Pre-shipment inspection
Feed, pressure, rotation and function checks recorded per machine, with photos and video of your unit before it is crated. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV or your own engineer) can be arranged on request.
Export packing and documents
Seaworthy export packing, anti-rust treatment, container or flat-rack loading plan, plus invoice, packing list, B/L, certificate of origin and HS code handled as one file set.
Consumables that match
Your bit matrix, rod specification and thread type are recorded against the serial number, so re-orders of rods, barrels and bits fit the string you already run.
Support after landing
English and Russian technical support, answers within one working day, commissioning guidance by video, and a spare-parts list issued with the machine so you can stock the right seals and filters.
From your email to a rig on the pad
Six steps, each with a document you keep. No step depends on you flying to China to check a machine.
| # | Step | What happens | What you receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Hole review | You send depth, rod size, rock type, access and available power. We check whether the hole is actually inside the rating you think it is. | A one-page model recommendation with the NQ / HQ / PQ ratings side by side. |
| 02 | Specification | Chassis, power, mast height, winch, rod handler and tooling are fixed line by line — including what is excluded. | Written specification sheet and scope of supply, ready to circulate internally. |
| 03 | Build and check | The machine is built to that sheet and inspected against a checklist with your serial number on it. | Inspection record, photos and video of your unit before packing. |
| 04 | Packing and documents | Packing, anti-rust treatment and loading plan are matched to the container you are paying for. | Packing list, loading plan, invoice, B/L, certificate of origin, HS code. |
| 05 | Delivery and commissioning | Shipping schedule and arrival documents are tracked; commissioning is walked through on video with your operator. | Arrival file set and a commissioning checklist signed off on site. |
| 06 | Consumables and spares | Bit matrix, rod thread and serial numbers stay on file; the spare-parts list is used to build your first stock. | Re-order sheet that matches the string already in your rack. |
Four things you will not get from us
A factory tour of a plant we do not own
We will show you the factory that builds your machine, or the inspection record if you cannot travel. We will not present someone else’s plant as ours.
A number before the specification
A price without depth, rod size, power and scope is a number that changes later. We quote after step 02, and the quote matches the sheet.
Someone else’s brand on the plate
Rigs leave with our plate or a blank one for your own brand under agreement — never a copy of a Western OEM’s identity.
Delivery dates we do not control
Build and sailing dates are given as ranges with the reason attached, and updated when they move.
The questions serious buyers ask us
Start with the hole, not the catalogue
Send depth, rod size, rock and access. You get a model recommendation and a specification sheet before any commercial discussion.
